Relic · diggingThe Everlasting Ember is the Almanac's milestone-80 object and the long-haul veteran's prize: it raises the cap of the Ember — the permanent bonus your Bonfires stack onto the daily Ration — from +0.40 to +0.50. It does nothing the day you open it; it does something every day from then on. Celestial rarity, and for good reason: reaching it costs eighty claimed Rations, and wringing it dry costs months of Bonfires.

Khron a day in the fourth land, 3.2% of the panel. The verdict was left in the code: "if it's going to be the veteran's permanent upside, it has to be felt," and it became +0.04 with a +0.40 cap [07-26]. The Everlasting Ember carries that idea on: the veteran should not run out of ceiling.
