Runic Fang

The common that works as the labourer of three whole stretches of the game. It pours out of the Umbral Forest, sells for 20 Khron apiece, and the recipes treat it as the dig branch's cheap muscle: the second Portal wants it, both Sublimes want it, and the Supreme Claws pile 1,520 units on top. It is neither rare nor hard — it is volume. And its whole entry fits into one warning: do not mistake it for the boss's fang.
