It comes right after the Guardian, and it comes to break a habit. You fight the first boss by reading its tell and answering with the right button; the Alpha tells you nothing. Every boss in Kairo has a game of its own, and this one is a blind hunt where the mistake is not missing a button, but not knowing when to stop.
