The Veil Sextant is your guarantee against a bad streak: you arm it by hand and, on the outing where luck leaves you without a single rare find, it is spent and adds one rare from the ground you stand on. The fine print is the best part: if the roll already produced a rare on its own, the Sextant is not consumed — it stays armed, waiting for the outing where it is truly needed. It speeds up nothing and multiplies nothing: it deletes the worst case. In a game of streaks, that is exactly what is worth paying for.

Mist Archipelago
Khron at base, a figure that falls straight out of that count. Beyond the stall it has two more sources: invitation levels hand it out in the farming family, and when the server lights the Lighthouse of the Veil event, its stand trades it for 90 shards, capped at 4 per player. From the Almanac it is banned on purpose: rares are the game's bottleneck. And once bought it never goes back on the counter: it cannot be resold or traded.
